Patti Keeler

Patti has always been fascinated by art and the many ways creativity can be expressed. Starting at school with basic drawing and painting techniques, jewellery making and tie-die techniques, moving on through the years to decoupage, craft and gift items using dried and silk flowers, and experimenting with calligraphy, oil painting and fused glass jewellery.

Patti primarily works in watercolours, and also loves the many effects that can be achieved by combining pen and ink with watercolour. Subject matter includes florals and landscapes in both traditional and abstract styles. She continues to expand her horizons by participating in classes and workshops in whatever artform interests her at the time, and feels that there is a never-ending supply of inspiration.

Patti joined The Art Group Strathroy-Caradoc in 2005 when moving to southwestern Ontario from the Durham Region area. She has held several roles within the group, including Membership, President and Co-President.
