Betty McCracken
I have always enjoyed the interplay of colours, shapes, and textures in natural and handmade things. Creating with paper, watercolours, acrylics, or acrylic inks, is my interpretation of earth’s incredible ecosystems.
The interaction of tiny drops of watercolour pigments with varying amounts of water becomes both an adventure ... and a challenge.
The serendipity of joining the power of watercolours and the vividness of acrylic inks creates a new energy.
The bright intensity of acrylic paint celebrates colour.
