Gerard (Gerry) Triesman
Upon retirement from my engineering career in the autumn of 2004,
newly gained leisure time granted me the opportunity to pursue my artistic
impulses once more.
I joined The Art Group in 2008, and was a founding member of the
Strathroy & District Writers Association in 2011. I also participated in stage
plays with the Strathroy Community Players for a few years. As if all that
wasn’t enough, I became a member of the Strathroy Ukulele Club
(CRackerS) in 2018. The weekly jams are great fun, and the gigs we’re
invited for are a blast.
My other hobbies are gardening, sailing, cross country skiing,
dancing, and spending time with friends and relatives. To say that I have
enough leisure time activities to keep myself from getting bored is an
understatement. My schedule is full, but I like it that way.
