Gerard Triesman

Ever since my early boyhood I was drawn to visual art forms and indulged in making pencil drawings and charcoal sketches. This was put on hold when school, work, marriage and a busy family life demanded most of my time.

Upon retirement from my engineering career in the autumn of 2004, newly gained leisure time granted me the opportunity to pursue my artistic impulses once more. I joined The Art Group in 2008, and was a founding member of the Strathroy & District Writers Association in 2011.

As a gifted woman pianist once said, “Music is God”. In my mind, so is all art. Talents are gifts that nobody can take away from us. It is my fervent wish that I will remain blessed to practise art for many more years to come
